T Austin Sparks Audio Sermons

Austin Sparks was born in London but was soon sent to Scotland to live with relatives on his father’s side. It was there that he was saved as a young man of 17 years. He was ordained as a minister at the age of 24. He was the pastor of three congregations in London for three years between 1923 and 1926. He left the Baptist denomination in 1926. With similar-minded Christians, he founded a conference and training center in south-east London. Many Christians took part in the conferences, which had guest quarters in which some stayed for prolonged periods. Bible courses, church meetings and services were held there. A counterpart of this center was founded in Kilcreggan, Scotland. The Scotland center was owned by the Honor Oak Christian Fellowship. In 1960 this center was given to WEC. From the Honor Oak Christian Fellowship Center, Mr Austin Sparks and his co-workers published and printed a bi-monthly magazine called ‘A Witness and a Testimony’ which was printed until his death in 1971. Austin Sparks was a widely acclaimed author and speaker. Many of his messages were included in his magazine.
