1834 – 1892. Charles H. Spurgeon was born in England, the son and grandson of godly preachers. After a long struggle, he was saved at the age of 16. Only four years later Charles H. Spurgeon became the pastor what is now called the London Metropolitan Tabernacle. His books and sermons make delightful reading. Charles H. Spurgeon is often called the Prince of Preachers.
