Martin Loyd-Jones was born on 20 December 1899. He was a Welch protestant minister. He used to be the second doctor to the queen of England until he felt led to preach. The queen later listened to his sermons. He often drew crowds of several thousand as associate Pastor alongside G. Campbell Morgan. He was married to Bethan Phillips. He retired in 1968 and is considered by many as the greatest expository preacher of the last hundred years in Britain. He died in his sleep in 1981. He had two children , Elisabeth and Ann.
